Halloween
Here are a few pics from Autumn's first Halloween. She helped us pass out candy at the house for Trick-or-Treat and even let us torture her a little by putting her in a pumpkin! It was beautiful outside and we couldn't resist. We figured this would be the first and last year we could get away with it! She wasn't a big fan of the cold slimy stuff at first but after a few minutes she got nice and cozy in the pumpkin and hung out there for a while.

October update
Over the past month Autumn has starting doing lots of new things. She's gotten through all of her first foods and not surprisingly she likes them all! She's also rolling over a lot more and has started sitting up on her own. She loves to sit and watch Macy everywhere she goes. Her two front bottom teeth are both in as well! She did a great job with that and it didn't seem to bother her too much, but we hear it gets worse with the top ones!
We are looking forward to torturing her next week with her Halloween costume :)

We went to a pumpkin patch last week. She was mainly interested in watching all the traffic go by...

Doing the two things she loves most at the same time...blowing raspberries and playing with her feet!

Family Update
It has been a very busy month and we've not done a very good job of updating the blog so this is our attempt to get caught up. Autumn is doing very well and we've had a lot of fun with her over the past month. She's now 5.5 months which is hard to believe. We started feeding her rice cereal about a month ago and vegetables this past week (pictures of that to come....). She is definitely a good eater - not off the top of the chart though so that's good!
We think within the next few weeks she'll be rolling over and sitting up on her own. We're very excited for those milestones but also trying to enjoy the time we have left before we can't keep up with her!

Her first OSU football game! (She's actually slept through most of the games so far
which is probably a smart move this season)

First time eating rice cereal

I guess actually having to chew your food is hard work at first. This pic is from the second or third night we gave her rice. She fell asleep between bites and was out for the night!

We went out to Wyoming to visit my grandparents at the beginning of September
with Brian, Shannon and Maddie. My parents also drove out so we were all able to be there together which was very nice. This is Autumn and Maddie in the Minneapolis airport between flights. It was a long night of flying (it was about 10pm ET when this was taken). So cute in their OSU strollers from grandma and grandpa Latta!

Autumn with her great-grandpa Flynn. I think this explains her big noggin! They have matching head shapes, and matching lack of hair :)

Autumn with her great-grandma Flynn. Unfortunately her health is failing which has been difficult, but we can't express how thankful we were to have the chance to see her and for her to meet Autumn.

Brady, our nephew, celebrated his first birthday last weekend!! So hard to believe that it's been a year already.

Our weekend in Charlotte
Last weekend we took our first roadtrip with Autumn and some of our friends, Mindy and Jeremy. It was a great weekend spending time with a lot of our friends. We spent a day with Kate and Dan and their brand new little boy Owen (Kate and Mindy are both friends from college) and then spent a day at Robin's house hanging out with a bunch of friends from high school.
Autumn was such a great sport in the car. She slept most of the time both ways and we were all very thankful that she was such a good traveler.

4th of July
We had a great 4th of July weekend hanging out at Nick's parent's lakehouse in Michigan. We also got to spend a little time with my parents on our way back to Columbus and saw some friends we don't get to see nearly enough.
